The governing coalition of ANO, SPD, and Motoristů has increased expenditures for several ministries during the state budget negotiations. Compared to the original proposal from the Ministry of Finance in late August, the increases primarily benefit the Ministries of the Interior, Labor and Social Affairs, Education, and Industry and Trade. These additional funds are largely earmarked for salary increases within these ministries. The cabinet reallocated these resources from the general treasury to the individual ministry budgets. This development indicates a shift in budgetary priorities towards personnel costs within the public sector in the Czech Republic. The move signals potential changes in the operational capacity and compensation structures of these key governmental departments.
