The director of the Czech Forestry Academy in Trutnov, Miloš Pochobradský, has resigned after a regional audit revealed several deficiencies within the school. The audit identified a number of issues, and Pochobradský was initially given until August to address them. However, the regional authority states he ultimately resigned for personal reasons. Despite his resignation, Pochobradský will remain in his position until formally accepted by the regional council. The regional government will now launch a selection process to fill the vacant director position. The nature of the deficiencies identified in the audit has not been publicly detailed.
