A Czech state prosecutor has conditionally dropped criminal prosecution against the engineering company Ferrit, which had been accused of supplying mining machinery to Russia. Investigations revealed that seven machines were delivered via intermediaries in other countries, despite export restrictions imposed by sanctions. Four Ferrit managers, including CEO Petr Mohelník, have reached plea agreements subject to court approval. The prosecutor agreed to fines ranging from 150,000 to 500,000 Czech crowns for each manager. Prosecution against two other individuals involved in the case has been discontinued. The case centers on alleged breaches of sanctions related to exports to Russia.
