A photographic exhibition, “Little Hanoi, Next Generation,” is currently on display in Prague, featuring portraits and stories of over seventy young Vietnamese Czechs. The exhibit aims to illustrate the diversity and integration of the second generation of Vietnamese individuals who grew up navigating both Czech and Vietnamese cultures. Located in the Holešovice Market, the project highlights the professional achievements of these young people, demonstrating their presence in a wide range of fields. Project creators emphasized the goal of challenging stereotypes and showcasing the multifaceted lives of this community. The exhibition offers a personal glimpse into the experiences of those caught between two cultural identities. It provides a platform for these individuals to share their unique perspectives and contributions to Czech society. The exhibit intends to foster understanding and appreciation for the Vietnamese-Czech community.
