A recent European survey on responsible driving has revealed concerning trends among Czech motorists. The 16th Vinci Autoroutes Barometer, which included the Czech Republic for the first time, indicates a significant proportion of drivers engage in aggressive behaviors. The study found that one in five Czech drivers admits to tailgating other vehicles. Furthermore, a notable number expressed inclinations towards confrontational actions, including excessive honking, verbal abuse, and even physical altercations with other road users. These findings paint a picture of a potentially hostile driving environment within the Czech Republic. The survey highlights a need for increased awareness and potentially stricter enforcement of traffic regulations to improve road safety and driver conduct. This data offers a first-time benchmark for Czech driving habits within a broader European context.
