The Czech Chamber of Architects has inducted architect Ladislav Lábuse into its Hall of Fame, recognizing his lifelong contributions and enduring work. Simultaneously, the organization presented awards to sixty entities – cities, institutions, and companies – for organizing architectural competitions last year. A panel of international judges has nominated 25 projects for the Czech Architecture Award, spanning diverse building types including schools, chapels, fire stations, and cultural centers. Residential buildings and timber constructions are prominently featured among the nominees. The winners will be announced in November, and the public is currently invited to vote for their preferred project. Lábuse is also a long-standing educator at the Czech Technical University and actively participates in the Chamber’s activities.
