A collision between a ferry and a sailboat off the Croatian coast has resulted in at least three confirmed fatalities, all of whom were aboard the sailboat. Croatian authorities are currently searching for one missing person. Eight individuals were rescued from the Adriatic Sea following the incident, with four hospitalized but not in life-threatening condition. Reports indicate the sailboat’s occupants were Czech citizens. A passenger on the ferry described hearing a loud impact and witnessing debris and people in the water. The collision occurred between the islands of Brac and Solta, with the ferry carrying 118 passengers and seven crew members.
