C.P. Vietnam, a major agricultural company, has partnered with Vietnam’s Forestry Administration to launch a five-year reforestation program. The initiative, “C.P. Vietnam – Journey Towards a Green Vietnam,” was announced on June 16th during a ceremony commemorating the World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought. As part of the agreement, C.P. Vietnam will plant 1.5 million trees across the country between 2026 and 2030. This collaboration aims to contribute to Vietnam’s Net Zero 2050 goals by increasing forest cover and mitigating the effects of desertification and drought. The program signifies a growing commitment from the private sector to environmental sustainability in Vietnam. The partnership will focus on collaborative implementation and monitoring of the reforestation efforts.
