Costa Rica’s Ministry of Justice and Peace has received an additional 900 meters of fabric following reports regarding ambiguities in donations intended for mandatory prisoner uniforms. This donation supplements previous contributions aimed at providing uniforms for individuals deprived of liberty. The boost in supplies came after *La Nación* newspaper highlighted unclear aspects of the donation process. The Ministry is working to ensure all prisoners have the required attire. This addresses concerns raised about the availability of uniforms and transparency in the donation process. The ongoing effort seeks to adequately clothe the incarcerated population of Costa Rica. Further donations, including footwear, are anticipated from a third organization.
