During a debate at the Bratislava Hanus Days, five conservative politicians discussed the political landscape. A central theme of the conversation was whether progressivism poses a greater threat than the Smer party. Paradoxically, Igor Matovič and László Gubík emerged as the strongest critics of the Progressive Slovakia (PS) party. Amidst these discussions, the possibility of forming a joint conservative bloc was raised. Neither Matovič nor Majerský completely rejected the idea of such a coalition. The dialogue highlighted the strategic tensions within the right-wing opposition. Ultimately, the participants sought to evaluate the most effective way to oppose progressive political trends.
