Jacqueline Tan spent two years largely confined to her room due to debilitating chronic pain, also battling depression during this period. The pain severely limited her daily activities and overall quality of life. However, Tan began a slow process of rebuilding her life by focusing on small, achievable steps each day. Crucially, she sought and benefited from therapy, which provided vital support during her recovery. Through gradual effort and professional help, Tan slowly started to rediscover joy and reclaim aspects of her life previously lost to the pain. Her story demonstrates the possibility of regaining a fulfilling life even while living with chronic pain.
