A leading Chilean researcher is raising concerns over the government’s decision to apply VAT to online betting platforms. Rosario Corvalán, from the Institute for Economic Studies (IES), has questioned the resolution by the Internal Revenue Service (SII), highlighting potential issues with its interpretation within the legal framework.
