A car was struck by a train in Prague’s Litovická Street during Friday’s morning rush hour. The driver reportedly entered a level crossing and became stuck in traffic, resulting in the train colliding with the vehicle and ripping off its rear bumper. Witnesses state the car was stationary on the tracks when the incident occurred. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the collision. The incident caused significant traffic disruption in the area for over an hour while authorities worked to clear the scene. The train involved was travelling from Kladno. Investigations are underway to determine the full circumstances surrounding the event.
