The Yaoundé Reviv’Art Festival (YAHRA) is forging a collaboration with the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC) to bolster the cultural and creative industries in Cameroon and the sub-region. This partnership aims to align with CEMAC's ongoing regional cultural strategy, prioritizing artistic creation and cultural professions. YAHRA intends to showcase local and international talents, fostering cultural exchange and interdisciplinary artistic dialogue through events like concerts, exhibitions, and film screenings. Beyond the festival itself, YAHRA plans to offer technical workshops to enhance the skills of artists and cultural professionals. The initiative seeks to prepare Cameroonian artists for the demands of the regional market and open doors to international opportunities. CEMAC views the cultural and creative industries as key drivers for youth employment and regional integration.
