Twenty Cameroonian students have been accepted into the Erasmus Mundus joint Master's program and are preparing to study in Europe. Eleven of these students received the competitive Erasmus excellence scholarship funded by the European Union, while the remaining nine will pursue the program without direct Erasmus funding. The students met with former beneficiaries, EU representatives, and university partners at the EU Delegation residence in Yaoundé to receive advice and share experiences. Their studies will take place across multiple universities in Germany, France, Belgium, Portugal, Ireland, Malta, or Finland over two years, fostering international perspectives. The students represent diverse fields including statistics, engineering, and health. The EU Ambassador highlighted their ambition to return and contribute to Cameroon’s development, inspiring others to believe in the accessibility of such opportunities.
