Robusta coffee prices in Cameroon are increasing after a period of stability, offering some benefit to producers. As of June 16, 2026, the price per kilogram ranged from 1,275 to 1,400 CFA francs, a 75-100 CFA franc increase compared to the previous three months. Prices had remained relatively flat between March and May 2026, fluctuating between 1,200 and 1,300 CFA francs per kilogram. While this price recovery is positive, it remains below the higher levels seen earlier in the year when robusta briefly surpassed cacao in price. Cacao prices have since rebounded, nearing 2,000 CFA francs per kilogram and reasserting its dominance as an export crop. The increase in robusta prices is expected to improve the income of coffee farmers as Cameroon seeks to revitalize its coffee industry.
