Cameroon’s Ministry of Public Works (MINTP) recently reported the completion of 2,442 kilometers of paved roads. This progress forms part of ongoing national infrastructure projects aimed at improving the country’s road network. Despite these advancements, significant challenges continue to hinder the sector’s overall performance. The MINTP highlighted these constraints during a recent assessment in Yaoundé, though specific details of the obstacles were not immediately released. The completed roads are intended to bolster Cameroon’s structural network and facilitate economic activity. Further updates are expected as the MINTP addresses the identified roadblocks to continued development. The focus remains on expanding and maintaining crucial transportation infrastructure throughout the nation.
