The Cameroon-EU Business Week officially opened on Wednesday, June 16th, at the Yaoundé Congress Palace, alongside the 10th edition of the Promote trade show. The event aims to strengthen the long-standing partnership between Cameroon and the European Union, which spans over 50 years. Both sides will review existing cooperation and explore opportunities for deeper economic relations, with a particular focus on fostering connections between the private sectors. The Business Week, running until June 19th, provides a platform for businesses to establish partnerships and facilitate trade. Key figures including Minister Paul Tason and EU Ambassador Jean-Marc Châtaigner attended the opening ceremony. The event is designed to encourage investment and long-term business relationships, aligning with both regions’ economic priorities.
