Cambodia has introduced a new financing scheme, the Energy Efficiency Financing Scheme (EEFS), offering loans up to $1 million to its small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). These loans will be provided at concessional interest rates, specifically to fund investments in energy-efficient equipment and renewable energy technologies. The initiative is designed to reduce the operating costs faced by Cambodian businesses, boosting their overall competitiveness in the market.
