The demand followed an informal meeting today between the Cambodian 4th Military Region’s Regional Border Committees (RBC) and Thailand’s 2nd Army Region, held at the Choam-Sangam International Border Checkpoint in Oddar Meanchey province. While details of the “illegal activities” were not immediately released, the Cambodian side expressed strong concerns. This meeting signals escalating tensions between the two nations regarding border issues. The RBC meeting aimed to address growing concerns over Thai actions near the border.
