Nithya Ravuri, a California high school senior, established Sevah Neuro, a rapidly expanding global organization dedicated to supporting neurodivergent children. Currently boasting over 500 members worldwide, Sevah Neuro fosters a community providing crucial resources and social connections. The nonprofit’s initiatives include a summer fellowship program focused on vital life skills and engaging social activities. Remarkably, this student-led organization actively pursues legislative advocacy to increase awareness and secure further resources for neurodivergent individuals. Looking ahead, Sevah Neuro plans to launch an educational book, a dedicated mobile application, and eventually, establish physical learning centers to broaden its reach and impact. Ravuri’s work exemplifies youth-driven solutions to important social needs.
