Police in Salinas, California, rescued a 30-year-old burglary suspect who became wedged between a storefront wall and a neighboring cinema. Officers heard the man’s cries for help while getting coffee after a night shift. The suspect reportedly fell approximately six meters after slipping on a roof while attempting to break into the building. He remained trapped for half a day before being discovered. Authorities believe the man was attempting to commit a robbery prior to the fall and subsequent entrapment. The rescue operation was successful, and the suspect is now in police custody. No injuries were reported beyond those sustained during the initial fall.
