BYD Motor Indonesia has officially announced pricing for its M6 DM, a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) version of the M6 multi-purpose vehicle. The M6 DM is available in Indonesia with a starting price of 298 million Indonesian Rupiah (approximately $19,600 USD), with the top trim level priced at 390 million Rupiah (approximately $25,600 USD), on-the-road in Jakarta. BYD claims the vehicle achieves fuel efficiency comparable to a scooter, reaching up to 65 kilometers per liter. This launch expands BYD’s presence in the Indonesian automotive market with a more accessible electric vehicle option. The M6 DM combines electric and gasoline power, offering a potential bridge for consumers transitioning to electric mobility.
