A fire in a ninth-floor unit of an HDB flat in Bukit Panjang, Singapore, sent three individuals to the hospital. The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) responded to the incident and contained the blaze to a bedroom within the affected unit. Approximately 100 people were evacuated from the building as a precautionary measure. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by authorities. Emergency medical teams provided immediate assistance to those injured, transporting them to nearby hospitals for treatment. Residents are being assisted with temporary relocation while assessments are conducted. The SCDF has confirmed the fire is extinguished and the situation is under control.
