Venezuela has received a donation of 1.15 million vaccine doses from Brazil, facilitated by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO). This donation includes 100,000 doses of yellow fever vaccine and 250,000 doses of canine rabies vaccine, supplementing the larger shipment. The aid is intended to bolster public health efforts within Venezuela. Earlier this year, Brazil also donated vaccines against yellow fever and canine rabies to the Venezuelan Ministry of Health. This contribution demonstrates continued regional cooperation in addressing disease prevention. PAHO played a crucial role in supporting the logistics and delivery of the vaccines. The donation aims to help Venezuela strengthen its immunization programs.
