The Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) Faridpur has solved the five-year-old murder case of Omar Ali in Baliakandi, Rajbari. Authorities announced the breakthrough at a press conference on Wednesday at 11:00 AM, confirming the arrest of Nazrul Islam in connection with the crime. Investigations revealed the murder was meticulously planned, stemming from allegations of an extramarital affair involving Omar and the wives of two accused individuals. According to PBI officials, five people were involved in the killing, brutally assaulting Omar after tying his hands and feet. The victim was then attacked with sharp weapons.
