Twenty-seven young people from Bougainville recently completed a two-week workshop focused on using art and theatre to address trauma and conflict. The program equipped participants with skills in drama, process theatre, and trauma-informed practices. Organizers aimed to empower youth to confront challenges within their communities and promote peaceful resolutions. The workshop sought to foster community transformation by providing tools for healing and positive change. Details of the workshop were published in the Post Courier, but access requires a subscription. The initiative highlights a novel approach to youth development and peacebuilding in Bougainville.
