Zejna Mehić, a resident of the Vlašić village of Mudrike in Bosnia and Herzegovina, recently celebrated her 100th birthday. Born in July 1926, Ms. Mehić has lived a century marked by hard work and dedication to her family. A BHRT team visited to commemorate the milestone with the remarkable centenarian. She attributes her greatest wealth to her incredibly large family, which currently numbers 119 descendants. This includes her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, a testament to a life well-lived and deeply rooted in familial connections. Ms. Mehić’s longevity is a celebration of resilience and the importance of family in Bosnian culture.
