Estonian tech firm Bolt is partnering with Pony.ai and Stellantis to launch a self-driving car testing program in Luxembourg. The pilot program aims to assess the safety and performance of Pony.ai’s autonomous vehicles within real-world traffic conditions. Stellantis will provide a midsize van and contribute its automotive engineering expertise to the initiative. The collaboration will focus on validating the technology and operational procedures necessary for safe autonomous mobility, including fleet operations and regulatory compliance. Luxembourg’s supportive environment for autonomous vehicle testing was a key factor in selecting the country for the program. The companies will also integrate the autonomous vehicles with ride-hailing platforms.
