Residents of Bishkek are complaining about the difficult access provided by a ramp at an underground passage located on Shabdan Baatyr Street near the “Vostok-5” microdistrict. The issue specifically concerns the ramp's steep incline, making it nearly impossible for people with strollers or mobility impairments to use. Locals report that navigating the ramp feels unsafe and impractical. This obstacle effectively prevents convenient passage for families with young children and individuals with disabilities. The situation highlights ongoing concerns about accessibility in Bishkek’s urban infrastructure. Authorities have not yet responded to the complaints regarding the problematic ramp. The current design fails to meet basic accessibility standards for pedestrians in the “Vostok-5” area.
