The Bertha-von-Suttner-Schule in Mörfelden-Walldorf, Hessen, has been awarded the Deutscher Schulpreis (German School Award) for its innovative approach to education. Despite only 15 percent of students receiving a recommendation for academic track (Gymnasium), two-thirds ultimately achieve their Abitur (university-preparatory diploma). This demonstrates the school’s success in fostering academic achievement among a diverse student body. The school received recognition for its comprehensive educational concept. Six other schools across Germany were also honored with awards. The Deutscher Schulpreis highlights best practices in German schools and aims to inspire innovation nationwide. This award acknowledges the Bertha-von-Suttner-Schule’s dedication to providing opportunities for all students to reach their full potential.
