A murder case has been filed in Bangladesh following the killing of Jewel Ahmed Rana, a member of the youth wing of the ruling Awami League party. Rana, 35, was reportedly tied up and brutally attacked before his death in Chougacha, Jessore district. Police have arrested one suspect in connection with the crime, with ten individuals named as suspects in the case filed by Rana’s wife, Maya Begum. The victim was a member of the convening committee of the Patibila Union Youth League. The incident occurred in Muktadah village, where Rana resided as the son of Abdul Wadud. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the murder and pursue the remaining suspects.
