Bangladesh has requested increased collaboration with UN Women to advance women’s economic empowerment, enhance climate resilience, and implement the Women, Peace and Security agenda. The request was made by Foreign State Minister Shama Obaid Islam during a bilateral meeting with UN Under-Secretary-General and UN Women Executive Director Sima Bahous in New York on Friday.
