A police officer in Bangladesh, Mohammad Arifur Rahman, has been removed from his post as Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Khulshi Police Station following allegations of assaulting and mistreating national cricketer Naeem Hasan. The removal was confirmed late Saturday night by Assistant Commissioner (PR) of Chattogram Metropolitan Police, Aminur Rashid. Rahman has been attached to the police lines, effectively relieving him of his duties at Khulshi. He has been replaced by the former OC of Bakolia Police Station. The incident involved Hasan being brought to the police station and allegedly subjected to abuse, including being told to lower his gaze during conversation.
