Four labourers from Punjab were killed by unidentified gunmen while working on a road construction project in Balochistan’s Pishin district. The attack occurred near the Quetta-Chaman Highway, with officials confirming the labourers were targeted while on the job. One labourer was injured and transported to a district hospital alongside the deceased. This incident marks the second violent event in the area within three days, following the recent destruction of a police station by armed men in Saranan town. That attack involved hostages and the planting of explosives, though no one was injured. Balochistan has seen a surge in violence, with five bodies recovered across the province just days prior. Authorities have launched investigations into both the killings and the police station bombing, amid a broader pattern of unrest in the region.
