Aurélio Pinto, a prominent figure in the Portuguese community in France, has died. He previously served as president of the Coordination of Portuguese Associations in France (Coordenação das Coletividades Portuguesas em França). Pinto was also a co-founder of Rádio Portugal FM, a key radio station for the Portuguese diaspora, and Portugal Presente, the first digital publication serving the Portuguese community. A socialist, Pinto dedicated his life to supporting and representing Portuguese citizens living in France, particularly in the Paris area. His work played a crucial role in fostering a sense of community and providing information to Portuguese nationals abroad. His passing marks a significant loss for the Portuguese expatriate community in France. He was formerly the coordinator of the Paris section.
