Mongolian artist Ya.Bilguunsar presented a unique performance art installation titled “Is the Wall Real?” at Victory Square. The artwork involves the artist living inside a glass enclosure for seven days, blending space, audience, and the artist’s physical presence. Bilguunsar, a teacher at the Mongolian University of Arts and Culture’s Directing and Acting Department, communicated with the public via written responses from within the enclosure, recommending D.Urianhai’s “The Life of Walls” for further insight. She previously adapted the work into a one-person play. The artist and project team encourage the public to visit Victory Square to experience the installation and engage with the artwork directly, seeking their own interpretations. The installation aims to provoke thought and interaction around the concept of boundaries and reality.
