Fernando Cerimedo, an Argentine communications entrepreneur and digital strategist for Javier Milei’s campaign, has been arrested in Bolivia. He is accused of the femicide of his partner. Cerimedo is also the founder of the right-wing news website, La Derecha Diario. Previously, he worked in Chile during the 2020 rejection campaign, funded by pro-rejection business leaders to disseminate polls through his company, Numen. He had been advising Bolivian President Rodrigo Paz at the time of the alleged crime. The case has drawn attention to Cerimedo’s political work and his connections to right-wing movements in South America.
