Eight ancient gongs from the Kơ Đơ set are currently displayed at the Pleiku Museum in Vietnam. These gongs, belonging to the Jrai ethnic group, are significant cultural artifacts. Their dark brown patina represents both age and the collective memory of generations. The instruments are not merely objects but are considered to hold the “breath” and history of the Jrai people. The display offers a silent narrative of the community’s traditions and heritage. The gongs serve as a tangible link to the past, preserving cultural identity through their physical presence and historical significance.
