The ANAMOLA party, led by newly elected President Venâncio Mondlane, announced a major initiative to train its members in electoral strategies and vote monitoring. This move aims to reduce electoral fraud in future elections, a key priority for the organization. Mondlane was elected with over 94% of the vote at the party’s first National Convention in Nampula. The party plans to establish a political school to build capacity across all stages of the electoral process, from registration to vote counting. Mondlane also highlighted the safety of party members as a significant concern, advocating for protective mechanisms in a challenging political climate. ANAMOLA aims to increase its membership to over six million by 2029 through national expansion and mobilization efforts. The convention served to define the party’s strategic direction for the coming years and elect its leadership.
