Reports have emerged alleging that politicians from the Civic Coalition (Koalicja Obywatelska) and their families may have received preferential treatment at the emergency room (SOR) of Warsaw’s Southern Hospital. According to documents obtained by Zero.pl, an unofficial, faster, and more comfortable pathway was allegedly established for them. The reports suggest this circumvented standard emergency room procedures. The National Health Fund (NFZ) has been provided with the data by Zero.pl, the investigative journalism outlet that initially reported the claims. The allegations center on unequal access to healthcare based on political affiliation. The hospital and the Civic Coalition have not yet officially commented on the accusations. This situation raises questions about fairness and equity within the Polish public healthcare system.
