The tenth anniversary of the “Night with Opera” project in Plzeň, Czech Republic, will feature a non-opera production for the first time. The J. K. Tyl Theatre will stage an open-air version of the musical ‘Mamma Mia!’ at the Lochotín Amphitheatre, the largest venue of its kind in the Czech Republic. The production will run for three days, from June 25th to 27th, showcasing hits from the iconic Swedish group ABBA. This marks a departure from the traditional operatic performances associated with the annual event. Organizers anticipate large crowds, leveraging the amphitheater’s substantial capacity.
